GBL - 02 Desk lamp

The GBL-02 by julius.works, a Berlin-based studio exploring the intersection of industrial materials and precise, reduced forms, brings together an industrial glass block and a brushed stainless steel base, laser-cut and bent to shape. The glass block’s internal linear pattern acts as a natural diffuser, giving the piece its distinct geometric character.

A light source integrated low within the base emits a warm, amber glow that is softened and scattered by the mass and texture of the glass. Rather than appearing as a single point of light, it filters through the block’s vertical grooves, creating a subtle interplay of light, structure and material.

Each GBL-02 is made to order, assembled and finished by hand in Berlin. Depending on current demand, production and dispatch may take several days.
